Players are back from break and the yellow 1,000 chips have been removed from play. They’re going hand-for-hand as it is bubble-time.
Before the break, Jeffrey Nagata opened for 40,000, Shiraz Hasan 3-bet to 120,000, and Jeffrey called. The flop was rags with two hearts and Jeffrey shoved, having Shiraz covered. Shiraz said he had to call, tabling KK for the overpair. He was ahead of Jeffrey’s (nut flush draw) but at risk for his tournament life.
When a third heart landed on the river, Shiraz’s tournament life was snuffed out just a few spots from the money. Jeffrey chipped up to ~1.55 million.
Schuyler Twaddle appears to still hold the chip lead with ~1.7 million.
